Celebrating Our Long-Running Obstetrics Conference

We recently hosted the 25th “Medical Complications In Pregnancy” conference at the Royal College of Physicians, London.

The course presented the latest obstetric research from specialist academics and clinicians, sharing and discussing best practice.

Proceedings were chaired by highly-respected leaders in the field, Professor Cathy Nelson-Piercy, Dr David Williams, and one of our charity’s trustees, Professor Catherine Williamson.

The three-day meeting included an anniversary dinner with an address from Michael de Swiet; founder of the long-running conference.

The conference attracted delegates from 30 countries and much kind feedback, e.g. on Twitter;

The course’s 250 places were booked up and unfortunately we couldn’t accept later applications. However, having trialled webstreaming, we intend to offer online places to make future conferences more accessible globally.
