Support Us

How you and your community groups can support us

Every day hundreds of parents face the heart-breaking reality of experiencing infertility, preterm, miscarriage or stillbirth.  With a current success rate of less than a third, and at such a high price, IVF is still not the miracle answer many assume it is.

Genesis Research Trust is the only charity of its kind to lie consistently at the heart of original leading-edge research investigating why and how things can go wrong with conception, pregnancy and birth.

Major medical advances that have been pioneered by Genesis Research Trust and transferred to everyday practice include hormonal cures for infertility, treatments that help reduce the chances of miscarriage, a revolutionary treatment for womb cancer, and ways to screen embryos for fatal genes. But we need to do so much more.

We receive no government or statutory funding, so are solely reliant on the generosity of the public to enable our fundamental research to take place.

By 2021-22 we are aiming to increase the amount we spend on medical research to £2m, an increase of over 40%.  We can only achieve this with your help.  To support our work please click here or on the Donate button above.

There are also other ways in which you can get involved, including taking on a challenge in aid of the Genesis Research Trust.  For more information take a look at our Challenges page, click here, or call Christobel on 020 7594 5937.

How Trusts & Foundations can work with us

In order to progress research, funding is desperately needed.

With no government or statutory funding, Genesis Research Trust is solely reliant on the generosity of individuals, corporates and charitable Trusts and Foundations to enable our fundamental research to take place.

We perceive each and every one of our donors as a valued partner in our aim to give all those who want children to experience a healthy pregnancy and realise their wish to have a healthy family.

Trusts and Foundations make a vital contribution towards our work, enabling us to carry out both general and restricted research projects. We are committed to meeting the needs of our Trust supporters. If you become a Trust supporter, we will work with you to identify projects you may wish to fund; or, if you decide to offer unrestricted funding, we will use your money where we know it will really make a tangible difference. In return, we will ensure you receive high quality reports on how your kind donation has been spent and the impact it has had. We pride ourselves on building strong relationships with our donors, and invite Trustees from charitable foundations to visit our research laboratories and meet the researchers at the heart of what we do.

We are also more than happy to acknowledge your support on our website and in relevant publications.
